Oh dear:

James currently 1-3* in the first set.

Richard's win & Evo's loss mean Bloomers will play Duclos in QR2, having convincingly beaten the Canadian 3 & 2 in Newport last year.

The main draws don't get any better, but at least we're guaranteed one Brit in the last 16, two if Bloomers qualifies & gets Luke! disbelief

L32:  Jan Mertl (CZE) WR 182 vs (WC) Ed Corrie WR 594

L32:  Qualifier vs (WC) Luke Bambridge WR 1068

L32:  (WC) Josh Goodall WR 229 vs (WC) Kyle Edmund WR 1319

Not great that across Queen's and Nottingham combined, we have just one DA (Muzz) and 4 WCs in each main draw, especially when in each case, two of the GB WCs have drawn each other in R1 with the winner likely to face the 2nd seed in R2. doh

Opposing finalists from week one, Dom and Jonny Marray team up in doubles here, no doubt in preperation for Wimbledon. Josh teams up with Luke as the only other Brits, no Rice/Thornley which surprises me?

Whoops! ashamed  Can't understand how I did that! confuse  I know I'm still not quite 100% after my bout of shingles, but that's supposed to affect the nerves in one part of your body, not the brain...

There were no seeded players left by final round of qualies. Not something that you see that often.

Richard has cheered me up no end with a 3 set victory, 4-6 6-1 6-4  (Just want him to avoid Kendrick now)

If tomorrow's OoP is anything to go by, Shhh, your wish has been granted:

L32:  (Q) Richard Bloomfield WR 378 vs (Q) Alexander Bury (BLR) WR 681 wink

Let's he doesn't chuck away this chance!

Also:

L32: (Q) Adrien Bossel (SUI) WR 422 vs (WC) Luke Bambridge WR 1047 bleh

For the record, Bohli got Kendrick. wink
