Since 5-5 Fitz has really been struggling to land first and 2nd serves. Did well to hold for 2-3* despite the serving problems. Better service game holds for 3-4*. Fitz earns 2bps then benefits from a df from Bobby to level at *4-4. Fitz fights hard to save 3 bps in a very long game, missing numerous game points before eventually holding for 5-4*

Great to see Fitzy doing so much better today

Main draw - about as bad as it could realistically have got for the GB WCs, given that the top 8 seeds don't play in R1.

L56: (WC) Liam Broady WR 817 v (14) Gilles Muller (LUX) WR 54
L56: (WC) James Ward WR 142 v (9) Kevin Anderson (RSA) WR 34 - H2H 0-1, 3 sets, Baton Rouge 2010
L56: (WC) Jamie Baker WR 207 v (WC) Oliver Golding WR 487 (winner plays (2) Tsonga in R2)

L32: (1) Andy Murray WR 4 v Guillermo García-López (ESP) WR 72 or Nicolas Mahut (FRA) WR 89

The Argentine clearly didn't lose his touch during his spell away from the tour! hmm

Just as in set 1 Boggo went down an early minibreak, but this time he retrieves it for 6-6(3-3)
