They're being a bit ambitious attempting to fit 6 matches in on each court (that would mean finishing at 8 pm, even with 90 minutes per match and no rain), but if it works, or even gets close to working, a CC ticket here tomorrow must be the best ticket for a big GB fan you're likely to get! Pity I'm stuck in London!

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!

They have no choice, they only have 4 courts because Court 1 is unavailable and 24 first round matches to complete.
I'm still undecided whether it's worth going tomorrow because I'll have to leave at about half 4.

I can probably only go tomorrow so I'm glad I've my ticket sorted.
I think poor Bally will be anxiously watching the light meter 'cos it's her R1 match that might not get played.

Laura's R1 win will for now take her past Heather in the rankings.
599 + 15 - 1 ( 16th best ) = 613 points.
With Heather currently on 607 points and with her 16th best being 14 points, she'll actually have to reach R3 to surpass Laura's current in running points.
Laura, of course, has a big 100 points to defend at Wimbledon compared to Heather's 5 points.
