Unfortuntely you have them days in sport.

If its any consolation to George, a lot of the games went to deuce, the scoreline could have been very different. Looked like he was always going to turn it around in that second set as well

SF: (4) Dan Smethurst WR 403 v (5) Petru-Alexandru Luncanu (ROU) WR 454 (CH 304 in 2009)

This is Dan's 5th singles semi-final of 2012 and his 6th since the start of October - he has won all of those last 5! It also takes him 4th= with Josh Goodall in terms of points picked up in 2012.
