Hmm. Bambridge gets Luke Saville if he makes the 2nd round. And if he gets past Masur, Kyle Edmund could soon have to play Quinzi. Interesting, given that he handed Quinzi one of the few defeats that must really have meant something. Not ideal draws, though.

Tricky draws, though Liam has one of the best sections if he can find some form. Josh has a chance to avenge his Italian Open defeat to the talented Halys.

The only girl who was ranked high enough to even be in qualifying was Eleanor Dean, but she withdrew (and hasn't entered Wimbledon)

Do we know how Eleanor is getting on? Since winning the 10k last year I expected to see more results from her?

Only played 3 tournaments on the Pro Circuit this year with little joy. Sporadic good results in juniors (2 grade 1 semis and a doubles title) but lacking consistency so far.

Josh is first up on court 3

Kyle 1st on court 8

Luke 3rd on court 8

Liam plays Monday

Kyle takes the next two points and the match 6-3 7-6(6)

Despite the fact the German was seeded I had Kyle down as the stronger player based on overall record, so not really an upset.
