Excellent win for Lisa who, apart from saving matchpoints in the second set as mentioned, saved several breakpoints at 3-4 in the final set.

Lana lost the first 4 games, but has been dominant since and looks on course to register a point on her pro debut - currently 5-7 6-2 4-0

Lana just rebroke to beat Yaz 5-7 6-2 6-4 and gain her first WTA point in her first ITF pro circuit match at the age of 15!

Aimee took the second set 7-6(5) against Emily and Jade is 6-4 2*-3 against Anna, and it looks as if rain has brought an end to play

Given that all the players in the draw are so close together in terms of ranking, and the very limited grass court practice each of them will have had, it's going to be very difficult to predict.

I'm very tempted to take advantage of the bank holiday by making a trip up to Nottingham, so I'm hoping most the top British girls are scheduled to play on the same day and that the weather forecast holds up!
