If it seems a bit strange Bally played better in defeat than Anne did in victory. Bally playing much better than she was in Sweden, Radwanska will take some stopping. Then again we might get to play outside tomorrow so everything might change.
Well I'd say Anne has to now be first pick for a GB Olympics WC, a deserved reward for her overall consistency over the last year relative to the other girls.
Any chance she can get in directly ? i.e. how high would she likely have to be ranked ?

I read they make the wild card selections on the first Thursday of Wimbledon so maybe they will use the rankings as of then as a guide?

Fortunately they are playing outside again - Coco serving first, stream available on the LTA site etc.
