Good news She's still showing as Aussie on the WTA site, but I assume it's the ITF who control questions of nationality in tennis so I always expected it to update there first.

She could actually be the GB no. 5 when the post-RG rankings come out, but I imagine Naomi will have something to say about that at Nottingham next week!

I'm amazed how little interest Phil's tweet (and my RT) of this news has caused among the GB journos on twitter so far - maybe everyone's too distracted by Muzz! LOL

Bit annoying that the BBC article on this makes it look like a sudden overnight nationality switch - probably not intentional, but oh so far from the truth!
