With Elenas loss today, her Olympic dream may well be over (can only realistically get in via a WC now) but Anne can still make it so, here's a list of the players around her and probably around the 1000 points will do it;
51. King - 987 (vs Voskoboeva at French Open) also entered Nottingham 52. Soler-Espinosa - 985 (Pulled out) 53. Wozniak - 980 (vs El Tabakh) 54. Bondarenko K - 970 (vs Chan) 55. Hsieh - 966 (vs Pennetta) also entered Nottingham 56. Begu - 930 ( vs Rezai) 57. Babos - 928 (vs Zvonareva) 58. Oprandi - 893 ( Govortsova)
---------------------------------------------
59. Tatishvili - 865 ( vs Glatch) also entered Nottingham 60. Cornet - 852 ( vs Zheng) 61. Date-Krumm - 846 ( vs Schiavone) also entered Nottingham 62. Parmentier - 826 (vs Urz. Radwanska) 63. Urz. Radwanska - 811 ( vs Parmentier) also entered Nottingham 64. Krajicek - 810 ( vs Martic) 65. Keothavong - 799 ( vs Czink) also entered Nottingham 66. Bertens - 770 ( vs McHale)
So Anne has a real good chance of making it by merit and has been placed in a good section at the French open and also has Nottingham to fall back on.
Hope this helps and it should be correct.

Bally doing herself justice, striking the ball well plus a couple of fine lobs and the occasional testing backhand slice deep to Stosur's forehand. First set lost 6-4 but much to be proud of.
'Twas always going to be near impossible to upset Stosur here. Obviously lost points, but will hopefully have a good grass court season to gain them back.
I don't really follow the ladies and don't understand their points system - but did I hear somewhere that Anne Keothavong moves up to British #1 now?
Not guaranteed. The next rankings come out in 2 weeks time, with Anne currently in pole position after points dropping off. However Heather and Laura could overtake (unlikely) with a very good run at Roland Garros / Nottingham.
I'll be at RG on wednesday and I've just heard that Murray definately won't be playing that day so very disappointed. I'm hoping at least one of the women can make it through R1 so I can get the chance to support them. First time there so has anyone got any advice? What's their version of strawberries and cream?
Laura's up 1st tomorrow on court 6. Can't see Anne or Heather's matches though. Is that right they are not playing until Tuesday or have I missed something?

That's right - the first round is spread over 3 days, and both are in the bottom quarter, which plays Tuesday
