Tweet from NeilHarman - Neil Harman @NeilHarmanTimes Hearing that Laura Robson may get into the main draw because of an injury to one of the Spanish players. Unofficially official
Would love for Laura to make it but massive shame for the girl whose injured.
I agree with the odds. Maybe a little harsh on Anne, rather optimistic for Bally and generous for Heather. I think both Anne and Heather are v capable, and I would definitely put a punt on Heather!
It takes a lot for a player not to play in a main draw of a GS, so the injury would have to be very severe indeed. Even if the Spaniard thinks she can't finish the match, you'd think that she would still walk onto the court for the prize money alone. But we'll see.

That's what I was thinking. Also she's not down to play tomorrow so has another day to recover.
Ah well, that wasn't a very long wait. Not expecting much against AMG because of her clay court abilities, but you never know. I believe she would need to win to actually get the extra points?
Great news shes got in and on the brighter side, at least she doesn't have to face Bartoli (even though AMG is a good clay court player). As for points, she stays with her qualifying 50 (if she wins then 150) so she only loses out on 10 points overall I believe?
2/1 odds about Anne seem very appealing, 6/4 about Hev not so much, but it does show you what respect the bookies have for Hev. If we get 1 through I would say that would be deemed a success. Laura has a shot to nothing but won't win , hopefully though will play a good match.
Please to hear Laura has made the French Open. The chances of her winning are remote but it does mean she hasn't lost out from not converting match points in the final qualifying round so that shouldn't affect her too much.
Can someone give me a link to the WTA tweet saying that Soler Espinosa has withdrawn and Laura has taken her place? The only one I can find is from WTATennisNews, which is a WTA fansite, not an official site.
I don't doubt that Laura will get in but if Soler Espinosa hasn't officially withdrawn yet and somebody else withdraws first, then Laura's oppont could yet be someone other than Medina Garrigues, so I don't want to publish the top 25 table showing her playing Medina Garrigues only to find out later that it's wrong.
Edit: The WTA statistician has just tweeted "With Robson in as LL @rolandgarros 4 Brits in womens MD, the most at RG since 1991 (Wood, Smith, Loosemore, Javer, Gomer, Durie) #RG12" so that'll do
