Darren Walsh is the sole British hope in singles this week!

If he had lost, we would have had no Brits left in singles and it's only Wednesday. How often does that happen?

Today's play must've been washed out:  Darren's down on tomorrow's OoP to play both his second-round &, it is to be hoped, his quarter-final matches then.

L16:  (Q) Darren Walsh WR 1533 lost to Viktor Galovic (ITA) WR 795 by 2 & 4 cry

Galovic went on to beat Brunken, the seventh seed (WR 519) in the quarter-final, so he's obviously a useful player!
