QF: BALTACHA, Elena (GBR) 6 70 v SEVASTOVA, Anastasija (LAT) Q 255
Sevastova reached a career high of 36 early last year on the back of winning her only WTA title so far (Estoril 2010) on clay and has just beaten 4th seed Timea Babos here in straight sets, so is presumably in good form. Badass Bally definitely seems to be back though, even if this is one of her favourite events (i.e. 100K ITFs) rather than a WTA.

I watched Sevastova at Monterrey a couple of years ago when she knocked out Jankovic. She is a useful player but definitely beatable especially as she hasn't had much play in the last 6 months or so.
