Devilder is a former world no. 60 who got there by winning clay court Challengers - the last 8 of his 9 Challenger titles came on that surface. He reached the Final in Casablanca this year but that was his first Challenger Final since the last year he won one, 2008.

My Uncle's Dog is called Dino so I think it is a fantastic name
You do wonder if his parents were Flintstones fans and actually wanted not a boy but a prehistoric dog.
As far as more plausible explanations go, the most famous 'Dino' I can think of is the great Italian goalkeeper Dino Zoff - maybe that's who he was named after.

1) You do wonder if his parents were Flintstones fans and actually wanted not a boy but a prehistoric dog.
2) As far as more plausible explanations go, the most famous 'Dino' I can think of is the great Italian goalkeeper Dino Zoff - maybe that's who he was named after.
1) That was certainly the first thought to flash through my mind when I first heard about it, the Flintstones bit anyway!
2) Dino's a pretty common shortened form of diminutive names for males of Italian (or possibly Spanish) extraction (from Bernardo/Bernardino or Riccardo/Riccardino, for example). Other famous Italians whose names may be familiar to some people are the Italian film producer, Dino de Laurentiis, & Dino Ciani, the pianist. And, of course, it was the nickname of Dean Martin, but he was born Dino Paul Crocetti... Maybe James' parents are Dean Martin fans?
