no singles today its been called off for the day just doubles inside.
so it will take a british tour format tomorrow from 11 oclock weather depending and then semi finals on again after suitable rest.
definitely a bonus ball giving my hand the day off!

How's it healing? Have you got it strapped up? I don't think Scott Griekspoor will mind delaying the inevitable for 24 hours anyway

Hi Julia.

Not only did I see Federer v Raonic, but also Nadal v Verdasco.  Two awesome games.

I have just got back and it is now 3.30am here, so if you want to know more, let me know and I will post tomorrow.

Bob

The thread is "General Tennis Discussion".

By the way, it's raining cats and dogs in Newcastle again.

Dehydration?

Nothing to worry about then.

Nice match-up Fitzy v Smetty

Would give Dan the edge if it's played on clay, but who knows?

Another excellent week for Team Fitzy whatever.

Fitzy tweeted:-

Into the semi's with a 63 62 win. (Indoors). good to make another semi's and keep the form. Only option is outside later #carnage

Kind of sums it up really

Thanks. I would love to hear  your view  on both those matches,   &  your opinion on Raonic.   I think there is a thread here somewhere for 'other' ie non Brit tennis.

Tweet from Philwrig:
The sun is shining here in Newcastle, but still heavily damp underfoot, suspect they'll be playing indoors in Jesmond today.

The Quarter-Finals were due to start at 11am...
