Top seed (Gerard) Melzer or former junior no. 2 Fratangelo await the winner.

A double helping of Dadamo for Ed after the former & his partner benefited from a walkover into the QF:

QF:  Jeff Dadamo & Dennis Lajola (USA/USA) WR 2564 vs (4) Ed Corrie & Vahid Mirzadeh WR 909

Still no sign or Ed's result today but he and Dadamo do have some 'previous' ...

"defeated Texas A&M's Dadamo by a 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 regular-season win over Texas A&M that clinched a share of the Big 12 regular-season title for the Longhorns" http://www.texassports.com/sports/m-tennis/mtt/corrie_ed00.html

But he got his revenge (& by the same score!) in the doubles, which most people will probably say is the wrong way round:

QF:  Jeff Dadamo & Dennis Lajola (USA/USA) WR 2564 lost to (4) Ed Corrie & Vahid Mirzadeh WR 909 by 4 & 3

*****

SF:  (4) Ed Corrie & Vahid Mirzadeh WR 909 vs Phillip Simmonds & Fritz Wolmarans WR 2143

Simmonds & Wolmarans took out the second seeds, Ouellette & Sangren (WR 813), in three today, so are not to be underestimated...
