Looks as though both girls put up a creditable fight.

Wow! Hadn't realised she beat Naomi in R1! Not a bad week, even if NB only rarely plays on clay ( perhaps we can see why?!?)

She's earned two ranking points in the past for winning one round of a 10K.

First time was in May 2009 when still a 15 yo at the equivalent Edinburgh tournament that year. She has also one point this year from a L16 in Portugal in February so will now have 5 points from two tournaments. Needs a third ranking score to be officially ranked.

Sabrina has picked up wins against a number of ranked players this year so it shouldn't be long before she gets the third ranking point.
