I left before the women's matches were completed, however my oop stated that F Stephenson was leading 7-6 4-2 since yesterday so there is a boob somewhere with that match result.

According to the drawsheet on the LTA site, Lucy beat Fran by the score quoted by Peter above. confuse

What a mess! Hard to know whether the drawsheet is wrong or the held over score on the OoP was wrong. I guess we will probably find out tomorrow.

Lucy tweeted that she won, so clearly it was wrong yesterday.

What has happened to the BBC? They used to give updated main draw results of all UK tournaments (men's and women's) several times a day from $10K upwards on http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tennis/uk_results/default.stm
They reported the results of the men's tournament in Bournemouth on Tuesday 24th April but nothing on the women's tournament, no updates since and absolutely nothing on the Edinburgh tournament.

So it's not just my computer, then?!! cry  I'd begun to wonder that myself.  A victim of the cuts perhaps? hmm

Evidently not !  Seems to be making a gentle come back.  Played in Bath (I think) a few weeks back.

I know it's a while since but that 2nd round result for Sabrina was a bit good! Pity she couldn't follow it up against a lower-ranked opponent, but at least she lost in 3.
Is that her first ranking point?

Wow! Hadn't realised she beat Naomi in R1! Not a bad week, even if NB only rarely plays on clay ( perhaps we can see why?!?)
