Good stuff from Heather and hope today goes well.

Sloane does have a good pedigree on Clay so not expecting a great deal but that why you play the games

That was a very good win. As the match went on Heather was gradually getting on top of Sloane's 2nd serve and finally that seemed to make the difference between two very closely matched players.

Q3: WATSON, Heather (GBR) 5 113 beat STEPHENS, Sloane (USA) 1 78 4-6 6-4 6-2

 

Who would be best in the next round Gajdosova or Hradecka perhaps?

Well done Heather - a very tough match if LS is anything to go by!!!

4-6 6-4 6-2.

Wonder who she'll be up against in R1???

Gajdisova, Hradecka, Kanepi, Medina-Garrigues or Danilidou. 

There's a revised Drawsheet up on the WTA website with 5 Qualy spaces so someone must have dropped out???

AnneK into a 3rd set just now in Budapest and Jamie Murray's dubs match is up on livescore in Munich.

Hev had chances to break back in the 6th game but missed out so Stephens went 4-2 and then broke Hev again.
