Had a good chance to watch Hev in practice last week and she seemed to be hitting her forehand bigger than I've seen before.
This qualifying draw is difficult not because of todays match but because she may have to play Stephens, a very good clay court player.

Q2: WATSON, Heather (GBR) 5 113 v ZHANG, Shuai (CHN) 162

Heather and Shuai have played twice before and Shuai won both in two. Third time lucky!

The Brits could do with a bit of help from the draw when they are playing WTA events on red clay ... and they certainly aren't getting it this week!

L32: Elena Baltacha WR 63 v (2) Maria Kirilenko (RUS) WR 20

They have met once before, Kirilenko winning 5 & 1 in Luxembourg in 2004.

An unfinished match was put on ahead of Heather, which has been won at a canter by Abigail Spears, so Heather shouuld be on in a few minutes
