RE: Week 17 - Challenger ($50,000) - Savannah, GA, USA - Green Clay

oh dear, my fault here.

a DF followed by a DF (with a footfault on the 2nd serve apparently!) and Rhyne breaks to love :(

RW *5-3

boggo battling to hold on, saves a SP with a ace.

4th DF brings up another SP, 2nd serve, saved.

Boggo missing a lot of 1st serves now, and his 2nd serve has never been the best, now another SP - saved with a Ace, another SP. - saved. another (5th) SP - taken :(

RW 6-4

As i was saying his 2nd serve being a liability here clearly left him vulnerable with 4 DF's, and towards to end of the set his winning % on 1st serves dropped dramatically, i presume he was taking something off his 1st serves to try and ensure he got them in and it didn't pay off.

You'd think if Alex was able to consistently win more on his 2nd serve it would have a huge impact on him as he would feel more relaxed on 1st.

hopefully a long way to go here, although clearly Alex needs to up his game on serve.

RW breaks the streak - time for Alex to follow suit.

unsurprisingly boggo facing 2bps, saved 1 but not the 2nd. RH leads 4-2.

i wonder if it really windy or something there, 8 breaks of serve so far is pretty crazy. sadly looks like RW will come out on top.

a DF to get things under way, 6th of the match.
15-15
15-30
15-40
2nd serve (hasn't won a point on 2nd serve this set)
and doesn't do so

GSM Williams 64 62.

Not sure what to make of that, Alex's serve seemed to start well then crumbled :(
