He is defending 18 points from the same ranking week last year, so has almost defended them now ( 15 points ) and will beat this if he wins the final ( 27 points ). Then he has nothing much to defend for the next couple of months or so ( 9 points in June ).

Exactly the same scoreline as last October's match in Texas
FINAL: (1) Jamie Baker WR 222 beat (6) Adam El Mihdawy (USA) WR 392 by 3 & 2
There's a good chance that win will be enough for Jamie to take out his 4 and a half year-old (Nov 2007) career high on Monday week, which given what he had to go through in the mean time would be a very significant milestone.

Amazing stuff from Jamie. Seems to have had a really great few weeks, Leon apart. He's a great role model for all aspiring youngsters. Has really knuckled down and made the most of what he's got!!!
