The doubles qualie draw has not yet been posted on the ATP site (don't expect to see it on the tournament site, since it has no "Draws" tab! disbelief ), but

QR1:  Alex Kuznetsov & Mischa Zverev (USA/GER) [two players born in Russia, but now playing for different countries! disbelief ) vs Adham El-Effendi (USA) & Darren Walsh

Good luck, boys!

... and to the player he beat in straight sets here last year too

Just two scoring tournaments for Alex so far this year - 8 points for Dallas Challenger R2 in early Feb and another 8 for reaching the semis in Bath in mid-March. Such a pity to see him losing to players he really ought to beat, even on the form of 2010/11, and to see him sliding down the rankings - only the other Brit here has fallen more places since the start of the year out of those currently in the GB top 25.

He's certainly not too old to mount one last assault on the top 100, but I wonder if he believes that himself any more. If he does and if he is still working hard, I wouldn't put it past him to qualify for Wimbledon this year if he gets a decent draw, and who knows what that might do for his confidence ...

PLD got a bit lucky so far, both his oppoents retiring!

As for Boggo i'm not sure whats going wrong for him at the moment, he has been working hard off the court, i have seen it with my own eyes, maybe he is having a confidence issue on court that just keep haunting him, in his last 2 matches he's been a break up (even if coming from behind) in all 4 sets and gone on to lose both matches in straight sets and thats got to be playing on his mind.

Next up is savannah and thats on clay again which is probably not ideal either
