I do wonder why Harriet still bothers with ITF events - her results suggest she can get herself up for senior events but not for juniors ... or if it's not that but simply that her style of play makes more impact in seniors (unusual if true, but very encouraging for the future, I would think!), it would still seem better to concentrate on seniors from now on. Still, what do I know ...

Yes, it's rather strange, Harriet's senior vs junior results
Given she's not 16 until the end of July it would be kind of early to totally abandon juniors for seniors, though I agree her senior results look very encouraging.
I'd say continue to mix it as she has been doing at least through the rest of this year and see how she stands at year-end.
Pity to see little turnaround in Pippa's results at the moment

All of Harriet's senior ranking wins have come indoors. All her junior events this year have been outdoors - the last 3 on clay, which may partly explain the difference.

Ah, well spotted! It probably more than partly explains the difference. You certainly can't do very well as a pro if you can only play well indoors, so in that context splitting her time between indoor 10Ks, which she's already capable of competing in, and outdoor junior events as she tries to improve on other surfaces, suddenly makes a lot more sense.
