Well, if Mr Evans wanted confirmation of how well he had done, Mr Tursunov's body language as he packed up after the match would have given it. He clearly was not best pleased at having been four hours on the court with the world no 325. A very good match, from a GB perspective. All the best now to Mr Ward.

Great effort from Dan. Minor point but was impressed with his fitness levels, he didn't visibly seem to tire which other Brits around his ranking may well have done in over 4 hours.
