L16: Alex Slabinsky WR 648 lost to (3) Miloslav Mecir (SVK) WR 389 by 7-6(?) 4-6 2-6
Slabba: "Lost to Mecir 76 46 26. Was set and 4-3 up with a break, then 2-1 up in 3rd with a break...but lost. Anger levels dangerously high. Fact: Tennis rackets sink when you throw them in the sea"
I can see why it'd be no consolation right now, but he must be playing reasonably well to have pushed Mecir that close.
GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!GB top 25s (ranks, whereabouts) & stats - http://www.britishtennis.net/stats.html
Frankly I expected him to be a gonna in straight sets, so I think he's done well, he was in front for most of the first half of the match.
Better luck for Slabba in the doubles:

Another Brit in another final - even if it is only in the doubles.
