Anne's been broken; Czink serving for the set at *5-4.

The Hungarian takes it with a love hold and an Ace on set point: 6-4.

JoKo off to a decent start; she broke Kerber in game 2 but the Kazakh just held her 2nd service game.
JoKo now serving at *3-1.

Probably because Kerber is the likely R2 opponent for Anne (if she beats Foretz Gacon in the match that has just started) so was mentioned near the bottom of the last page.

JoKo, now set to hit a new career high around WR 210, plays Petra Marti (CRO) WR 57 in R2. Odd that this is due to be played just before Laura plays her R1 match! It looks like Anne won't play her R2 match against Kerber/SFG until Thursday.

If JoKo does become British soon, we could have three intriguing battles for the GB 1/3/5 slots over the summer - Bally v Anne for 1, Hev v Laura for 3 and Naomi v JoKo for 5.

There was a long break at 3-2* to Anne. Since then Czink has won just 1 point. Second set to Anne 6-2.

Czink held for 3-1, Anne held and has just broken back to 3-3 and on serve again.

Anne went 30-0 up but Czink now has Ad for another break of serve. 

Saved by Anne so back to deuce, Ad Anne, deuce, Ad Czink, deuce, Ad Anne.

And she finally holds serve.  4-3* Czink to serve.
