I assume some of the opponents were under-ranked college 'ringers' (always a danger in US Challenger Qs and Futures) but even so, what a disaster weekend.
Some good news - Lu has pulled out, so if Jamie can get past Sandgren, he won't have to play the top seed in R2.

Much as I applaud Ed's exploits, I can't help feeling Boggo would've stood a better chance of overcoming Gard in QR2 & Strode in the FQR. Needless to say, neither Gard nor Trombetta survived the FQR...
They are already in as a LL (and would have known about the LL place beforehand as the match they are about to play was scheduled before the qualifying match).
