A fantastic effort Fitzy. A good couple of weeks and a good indication of the level you're playing at. Enjoy the rest.

A semi, a title and a quarter losing on a 3rd set trip to 2nd seed. What a trip. Well done Fitzy.

A 2nd seed, ranked 244 no less. You should be proud of yourself. Have a safe trip home.

Absolutely gutted for Fitzy but what a battle. This was certainly challenger/late futures round match so you made yourself proud.
Big picture though, in 3 weeks you got your first title and 26 ranking points (doubled your old amount) that will take your ranking to a point were you will be seeded almost every time at futures level and you will only meet opponents of this calibre at late stages of tournaments. That's a massive achievement.

Now go back home, get some proper rest and ride your success even further. You have surely got people's attention now!

F**K!!!! tried so hard there to push myself over the line, both just willing each other to win, coming up with some ridiculous shots.
Too good from him he beat me fair and square and i couldnt do it today.
GReat 3 weeks and a marker for exactly where im at right now.

Sorry to put you through the ringer, but i dont ever give up and love to fight. Also sorry i couldnt get the win there and keep it going.

Flight booked for tomorrow. Tough day.

You've got to be happy pushing the WR244 so close, not least obliterating him in the second set. Definitely a case of upwards and onwards. Well done!
When's your next appearance in the UK, all being well? Hope you soon settle down in London.
