Lemoine won a 10K title in Helsingborg last month, so perhaps not surprising that it took Emily 3 sets to beat her (i.e. Lemoine's 524 ranking may be a bit deceptive)
EWS: "4-66-36-3 yay!felt like I was playing absolute kvitova in 1st,girl was on fire.wriggled way in+turned it around.backtoback matches,finally."
Now that's how to fit a lot into 140 characters! I assume she means Lemoine seemed to be playing like Kvitova in the 1st.

Very odd-looking score. It turns out Emily won the first game of the match and Sekulic won the rest (with a df on match point just to complete Emily's bad day), but Emily served 3 aces in each set and 3 of her service games went to deuce, which suggests she got through the match ok and certainly didn't give up at any point.
They both got just over half of their 1st serves in - the big difference in the stats was that Sekulic won 94% of points on serve when she got her 1st serve in and 64% of her 2nd serve points, whereas the corresponding figures for Emily were 59% and just 15%, i.e.- Sekulic won 22/26 points when she got a look at one of EWS's 2nd serves.

Just seen Emily's take on it: "Lost fast today. No sparkle in legs or mind.Maybe 5 matches in 4 days took their toll. But little by little, this week was better than last."
At least she feels there is something to take out of the week overall.
