There seem to be a lot of empty seats in what is a pretty small arena. It's time for the LTA's absurd love affair with Braehead to come to an end, I think.

I think it's the week-in week-out aspect.

And, although it's 1 set all, 4-3 to Dan on serve as I write this, I have to say that I'd give Dan only a 20% chance of winning. There are fine margins at the top of most sports, and Rochus is the better player.

Shame for Dan; he put a huge effort into the match and was ahead in the 4th but couldn't sustain it.

GBR now 0-2.
It's a long way back from there to post the win.
Getting the doubles in the bag would be a start.

seemed like good performaces from our boys, this was always going to be tough, rochus and darcis are very experienced at the top level so i dont think much more could have been expected.

people who are saying davis cup needs to be moved away from glasgow. i live about an hour away but i would agree now. after having 4 or 5 ties here i think it has lost its novelty factor when from last year. also dosnt help that andy dosnt play. they spotted our mummy in the crown, wonder what she has to say about him deciding he dosn't feel like representing his country
