Goodall the only real option as he was with the team this week anyway and with Baker in the US and down for Leon next week would have been a difficult decision to pull him back. Goodall in the best position coming off a title last week as well so must feel pretty good.
On the big stage I think Goodall has played some very good tennis but really struggled in getting any results (Marchenko- DC, Llodra- Wimbledon).
Thinking back to his first career rubber when he kept coming from behind in the set and forcing tie breaks but then messing things up when it got to them. Hopefully he's learnt from that. He will definitely have less pressure on him in this tie though as he goes in as a strong underdog compared to against the Ukraine where he should have won really.
saw goodall at braehead he did not inspire confidence as no1 singles player that weekend he was flat really not pumped up compared to eaton who did seem up for the tie.
i can see a 4-1 score to belguim but I hope I am wrong Saw Josh at Wimbledon when younger and I really thought top 150 or so player but he went backward However I hope he does well Leon is a better motivator than Lloyd who did not seem to encourage the team
Is there still a thing with Josh and Andy as I recollect at one time they were not bosum buddies.
Anyidea who is the reserve for the match now? Corrie or Milton??????
off topic but watching the bbc live blog on the chelsea v benfica match and they have put up tweets from daniel evans and james ward, neither of which are the tennis players! weird coincidence or what

Josh had lost all 5 sets he had played in DC before, 4 of them in tiebreaks, so to take that tiebreak so convincingly against a top 100 player is a very big deal
Long way to go though ...
