SF: Andrew Fitzpatrick WR 704 beat (5) Adrien Bossel (SUI) WR 425 by 7-6(4) 6-3 biggrin

FI: Andrew Fitzpatrick WR 704 v (3) Adam Kellner (HUN) WR 301

Fitzy will now (barring lots of freakish results elsewhere next week) almost certainly be top 600 and GB top 15 (from 704 and GB 21 now) on Monday week!

Another well done Fitzy, from me.  I don't post to often but like many keep reading the site everyday following the Brits.  So there are more people following you, than you imagine.

I should be all British and say "good luck in the final".  Sod that.  Go on and win the ruddy thing. biggrin

Btw Steven.  What is Fitzy's CH win?

Klizan at Loughborough 2010 when the Slovak was ranked 215 - all Brits' career high wins are on Helen Parish's tables which are linked to from http://www.britishtennis.net/stats.html

what a day. feels great to win into my first final. Deserved it by showing alot of character again after being a break up a few times in the first set and not even managing to get points in those games let alone the game itself!
Down one end was like playing up hill massively against the wind, and down the other if you were brave u could win the points easily by dominting, but if not then the ball would fly long because u were a little tentative. alot of mind games went on today and i came out on top.

I reply to an early post, i was a top junior under 16 for my age, i finished number 3 i think. I went to queens for 2 years and came out absolutely nowhere and playing worse than when i was there at the start. So i have had funding for a small part of my career but for along time after i left queens when it moved to roehampton i was dis guarded.

player with potential but someone who would never fulfil that potential. Here i am now hopefully proving them all wrong.

Didnt realise that the match was online. Day off tomorrow because the weekend out here is friday/saturday and saturday is basically and english sunday where nothing is open and no on works. Hense why qualis schedule starts at 7pm and they only have like one or two rounds.

Think the final will be sunday around 3pm. Until then im going to savour today and enjoy the feeling!!

Crossing everything that you make it, man!!! Yes, you're right you deserve it because you've done it the hard way. Would love you to be playing Challenger qualifying some time soon.
Remember, it's not a Final Sunday, it's the first round of the rest of your career. Will be using the Champion emoticon come Sunday afternoon
