Probably something on the ITF website, as it's his first title but the LTA and the BBC don't recognise anyone below the top 100 unless they play Queen's or Wimbledon

Helki's just started a week's skiing holiday, but I've been keeping her up to date with certain results. She was delighted to hear about this particular one & she's asked me to pass on her congratulations to Fitzy.

wow im pretty speechless at the support ive got on here.
ive just got back to where im staying at read from the start to the end, absolutely incredible support.

Pretty sure everyone of you willed me over the line and helped me hold all those tight games. What a match.
Every big point he went into a different player, gave me absolutely nothing and played a great point.
For me to show the mentality i did in that match means so much to me. First final and to lose the first set on a tie break and come back and keep fighting, i mean you saw the scores in the games, there were alot of situations i did well to get into and get myself out of.

Hense why a tennis match is always more than just a scoreline, and dont worry i was trying to not think about how serving for it at 5-4 was the biggest game off my life, but my heart rate was coming out my head!
By the way i double faulted the first point at 5-4 in the third and the crowd let out the biggest combined gasp of the match. Just what you need! ha
Served an ace to seal the win which was apt to cap off a totally brilliant week.

Im an easy guy really just want to work hard and get the rewards i think i deserve. To read the support on here after such a great day i cant tell u how much it means to me. very humbled that an average bloke like me can draw you guys in.

Just necked 4 scoops of ice cream in celebration, its my birthday on the 6th so a fantastic early birthday present.
The lta were quick on the uptake and leon and paul were straight in there to congratulate me and will speak to them when i get back.

much needed rest day tomorrow.
