Emma would have got her ranking back had she won today. Final scoreline 6-3 6-7(2) 7-6(4) to Adamovic.

Got those upset predictions spot on didn't I, NOT.
After very long layoffs both Jade and Lucy did very well to put their opponents away so comfortably.
Will be interesting to see if they can continue to impress once the opposition gets tougher.
Sadly Bowtell ( I got one right ) was too strong for EWS.

That looks like a fine win for Harriet who seems to be enjoying playing on the procircuit.
Deano had the toughest draw and so can't bee too disappointed.

She's right & I got it wrong (God alone knows how!) when I transferred the result from my updated draw sheet (courtesy of the LTA for once - after several weeks of doing quite well in updating scores on its Twitter feed on the site, it seems to have reverted to bad old type this week! disbelief ). ashamed  No point in advising me to check tweets, SMC.  I haven't a bloody a clue how to do it! wink

Smitkova broke at the start of the 3rd set, Jade broke back for 3-3 only for Smitkova to break again immediately then hold. Keeping half an eye on the score while on a long phone call, I'm pretty sure Jade saved a couple of match points on her own serve at *3-5 and she has just broken for *5-5 ... but is now 2 bps down on her own serve again!
