Boggo back from the brink, saved 4 SP's before holding for 4-5, still Ed with a chance to serve it out and level the match

Boggo v Corrie is 3-3 currently. difficult to see which way this will go, Boggo has the advantage of serving 1st, but you feel the pressure is on him to win more than Corrie.

Ed missed a couple of volleys by a few inches towards the end of the tb, which proved to be the crucial mb. Never seen boggo so pumped up after he hit a winner on mo, double fist pump with a load roar for good measure. Hopefully he can finally end torbekos streak tomorrow.

Also I think I overheard thornley telling their opponents that him and rice planned to pull out after a point of their doubles match later, must be to avoid some sort of penalty for conceding a w/o. Sean was on the practice courts earlier so it must be rice who's injured, unless I got the complete wrong end of the stick!

thanks Josh, how much of the match did you see? seemed like Boggo was cruising then Ed won 3 love games in a row at the start of the 2nd and the momentum massively swung. was it a case of Ed stepping up or Boggo stepping down?

Who was he and what had he done with the real Boggo? wink Have you been giving him lessons in how to celebrate, Count?

Thanks again for the updates - it turned into quite a match, didn't it. It's Torebko btw (I'd assume you'd made a typo above but it was Torbeko on most of the tweets too, so I thought I'd better mention it in case you're going tomorrow! wink)

Sarah Borwell seemed to be claiming Boggo as a college player:

"@BritishTennis: More from Bath: Boggo wins the battle of the Brits and defeats Ed Corrie 6-1 4-6 7-6(4)" Former college player, great effort

... then I realised she was talking about it being a great effort from Ed to push the Bogster so close!
