RE: Week 11 Futures - GB F5 ($15,000) - Bath (Hard)

That sounds horrendous! Anyway, the good news (though not for Lewis) is that Richard seems to have got back in gear - up 4-1 in the 3rd.

Unlucky Burton! Definitely has the talent, lost a lot of close matches this year!

Fucsovics wins 2-6 6-3 6-2 but that 1st set suggests good things to come for Jonny

Neil Pauffley beat 3rd seed Michalicka 4 & 4

Marcus did well to take Torebko to a 1st set t/b but lost that 7-6(4) and eventually lost in 2 - Slabba next for Torebko.

Ed up 6-1 v Milko - the winner plays Pauffley in R2

Oh, you're here! Does that mean you've left for the day or have you managed to access the forum from the courts?

From his matches with Brits last week and now this, Torebko either is a bit jammy to get all the wins he has, only really impressing at all scorelinewise against Josh Goodall in last week's final or he just simply generally does as much as he needs to and little more  confuse

Seen much of him, Josh ?

I had internet access on my phone the whole time, it's just easier to put the scores straight onto twitter than onto the forum when there a load of matches going on at the same time.  It was pretty quiet towards the end though with Ed winning comfortably and only doubles matches on the other courts so I caught up with all the other threads and just made a quick post on here.

re Torbeko, I only really saw the end of the 1st set against Willis where both were pretty even, Willis even had a set point at 6-5* up, but Torbeko just edged through in the TB.  Didn't really see any of the 2nd set, but pretty sure it was just the 1 break.

Not sure how much I'll be there for tomorrow, only an hour or so if at all in the morning.

Yes, I'm sure it is easier to do at that way - that's even true when not on-site. You've done a brilliant job anyway, way above and beyond the call of duty. I hope you're managing to see some tennis, not just a phone keypad wink

So 7 Brits this week in the last 16, bit down from 11 last week, and with the 3rd quarter an all British affair including Boggo and the in form pair of Ed Corrie and Neil Pauffley.
