thanks guys for the support a good day where i showed my mental strength. As given the very very bad conditions my opponent was absolutely dominating me.
He was chosing all the right shots and i was just trying to wait for a chance and run and run.
That chance came and i took it!
Ive managed to hustle somewhere to stay until next friday for free, so come next friday i will try to find somewhere else!

Spoken to alot of people at the tennis club about my situation so there are all looking for me as well, really nice people.
The club is on the most expensive road in israel! ridiculous place to hold a tournament. (in my eyes)

I play a big guy from sweden tomorrow lefty. if i play my game and play well i have a good chance of winning, for now im enjoying my singles win.
Lost doubles in a tigh match 64 64.

See what tomorrow holds, i will definitely be putting something together and taking it to van companies when i get back to the uk.
If i ever stop playing it will only have been for one reason, money! But then thats life i guess everyone always wants more money, even the rich strive for more, so i think its a vicious circle.

QF: Andrew Fitzpatrick WR 703 beat Roel Oostdam (NED) WR 950 by 1-6 6-4 7-5

SF: Andrew Fitzpatrick WR 703 v (Q) Tobias Blomgren (SWE) WR 952

Blomgren managed to upset George's conqueror Bega today despite winning 3 games less than the Italian (7-5 0-6 7-6(6)!) but lost to both George and Lewis in Sweden last year.

In fact, since George beat him in the Danderyd semis, that means any Brit who has beaten Blomgren in a semi has gone on to win their first Futures title that week. A small sample of one, admittedly, but still ... wink

Fitzy: "Lost 36 61 46, dirty dirty conditions where I played the right way and he gunked it around and kept getting lucky. #gonewhenurthebetterguy"

That's also the second time in a row Blomgren has won without winning more games than his opponent. The title of Brad Gilbert's infamous book comes to mind ...

Still, semi reached = good week!

Ah pity.  But a good week, getting to that semis and some good points.
