I see that the 6 GB qualifiers all lost today but the 3 of the 4 GB WCs won - 2 of them against GB qualifiers plus Whitbread. Anyway, R2 looks like this:

L16: (WC) Oliver Hudson WR 1124 v (1) Peter Torebko (GER) WR 226|
L16: Richard Bloomfield WR 370 v Andrew Fitzpatrick WR 703 - H2H 1-0 (3 & 2, 2009)
[ L16: (4) Michael Ryderstedt (SWE) WR 331 v (Q) Nicolas Rosenzweig (FRA) WR 750 ]
L16: (7) Chris Eaton WR 390 v (WC) Neil Pauffley UNR - H2H 1-0 (4 & 6, 2007)
L16: Dave Rice WR 435 v Marcus Willis WR 734 - Futures H2H 2-1 (MW on hard in 2008, DR on grass 2008/10)
L16: (3) Josh Goodall WR 264 v (WC) Scott Whitbread WR 1506
L16: Lewis Burton WR 633 v (5) Timo Nieminen (FIN) WR 333
L16: (2) Jamie Baker WR 247 v Marcus Daniell (NZL) WR 727

I think at least Josh and Jamie should get to the semis if they are both fit, although I think Rice beat Josh recently.

Yes, David beat Josh  7 - 6 (4)  6 - 1  at the Wirral future event in January.

If they meet in the QF, as one would think they should. it really looks as if it could go either way.  Josh's form recently doesn't convince, certainly for whatever reason looking quite a bit down on the second half of last year, and David relatively looks to have been in pretty decent form.

Lewis Burton pushed Nieminen close in both sets but to no avail, so 5 Brits got through in the end:

L16: (WC) Oliver Hudson WR 1124 lost to (1) Peter Torebko (GER) WR 226 by 6-1 6-7(4) 6-1
L16: Andrew Fitzpatrick WR 703 beat Richard Bloomfield WR 370 by 3 & 4 biggrinbleh
[ L16: (4) Michael Ryderstedt (SWE) WR 331 beat (Q) Nicolas Rosenzweig (FRA) WR 750 by 4 & 2 blankstare]
L16: (WC) Neil Pauffley UNR beat (7) Chris Eaton WR 390 by 3-6 7-6(5) 6-3 biggrinbleh
L16: Dave Rice WR 435 beat Marcus Willis WR 734 by 4 & 3
L16: (3) Josh Goodall WR 264 beat (WC) Scott Whitbread WR 1506 by 6-7(3) 6-2 6-1 smilecry
L16: Lewis Burton WR 633 lost to (5) Timo Nieminen (FIN) WR 333 by 5 & 5 cry
L16: (2) Jamie Baker WR 247 beat Marcus Daniell (NZL) WR 727 by 3 & 4 smile

QF: Andrew Fitzpatrick WR 703 v (1) Peter Torebko (GER) WR 226 (CH 223 last month)
QF: (WC) Neil Pauffley UNR v (4) Michael Ryderstedt (SWE) WR 331 (CH 130 in 2005)
QF: (3) Josh Goodall WR 264 v Dave Rice WR 435
QF: (2) Jamie Baker WR 247 v (5) Timo Nieminen (FIN) WR 333 (CH 254 in 2003)

Torebko beat Fitzy 1 & 2 at the same stage in Tipton last year.

Josh leads the H2H against Dave 4-2 but Dave won their last meeting in the Wirral in January.

Jamie thrashed Nieminen 0 & 2 at the Wrexham Challenger in 2004, lost to him 3 & 5 five years later and got a walkover win against him in 2010.

Oliver Hudson lost 6-1 6-7(4) 6-1 to top seed Torebko - not bad taking a set off a player ranked 898 places above him!

Josh went an early break up against Scott Whitbread, but Scott broke back and then took the tie-break 7-3.
