Brilliant

Going out to a lower-ranked player in the FQR then beating a higher-ranked player in R1 is infinitely more profitable than the other way round!

Far be it from me to question the "master", but the guy he lost to in FQR was ranked 755.  Or did I misunderstand what you meant ?

Oops, it's a fair cop disbelief - I was mixing that FQR loss up with Matthew Short's - he lost to a lower-ranked player in the FQR in Faro.

I've been mixing up the two Iberian peninsula Futures all week (checking the wrong drawsheet or the wrong event on bet365 from time to time), this is just the first time I've made it obvious! ashamed

You are forgiven - or a least you will be if you can tell me where I can find out how Kyle is getting/got on.

A recent tweet from Jack "Back to 128 qualis tomorrow most mentally challenging week of all time"

Assume he lost then

Julia - you beat me to it by about 30 secs.

Hoping Jack will be seeded high enough for a 1st round bye in the qualies as it sounds like he could do with a day off.
