I spoke very briefly to Neil Pauffley. His absence for the last 18 months or so was purely down to injuries; knee surgery followed by shin splints. He said he's playing in Bath next week too, so I guess he's getting a QWC.
Possibly not a great idea to go to the police and say "I'm not shure where I p-parked my c-car, oshifer" but happily it sounds like it didn't go quite like that and at least you didn't try to say "Fucsovics" in that state. Oh, hang on ...
I hope you're not feeling too rough this morning anyway.
The main draw WCs for the Bath Challenger are Josh Goodall, Dan Smethurst, Liam Broady and Oliver Golding.

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
The main draw WCs for the Bath Challenger are Josh Goodall, Dan Smethurst, Liam Broady and Oliver Golding.
So Liam turned down Miami then ? Or am I imagining he was supposed to be there next week?
That's a good point - OEM did say both Broadys had QWCs for Miami, yet surely these Bath WC nominations have been released since then.
The two most relevant paragraphs from the Times on Monday:
"It helps to have friends in influential places. Liam and Naomi Broady, the brother-and-sister pair trying to climb the ranking ladder, have been granted a shove in the right direction, with the awarding of wild cards into a five-star tournament in the United States.
Liam, 18, may only be ranked No 26 in Britain, but he has been invited into the qualifying tournament for the Sony Ericsson Open, that starts in Miami next week. The same is true for big sister Naomi, 21, the fifth-ranked British player at No 192 in the world. These are great opportunities to gain experience and possibly take a shot at a star in the main draw."
