Dan, Dan, the jet-lag man! ... I was half-expecting him not to be in the draw here after he dashed home from California (San Jose Q) to play Corby British Tour last week. Chris Eaton beat Redlicki in straight sets a few weeks ago.

I guess Dan not playing his R1 until Wednesday makes it much more reasonable him going back to the UK for the British Tour after his ATP qualifying defeat 10 days ago.
Still seems a bit strange, but I wouldn't see that he should have amy particular tiredness or jetlag problems.
SF: (4) Dan Cox WR 393 beat (2) Thomas Fabbiano (ITA) WR 327 by 3-6 6-3 6-4
FI: (4) Dan Cox WR 393 v (1) Peter Polansky (CAN) WR 264 (CH 164 in 2009)
Dan will be attempting to emulate Jamie Baker, who upset then top seed Kevin Anderson here to win the title in 2008. That, sadly, was just before Anderson broke through into the top 100 and Jamie got ill.
