And the reason for play being suspended, at least according to twitter

"Someone in crowd passed out. They are waiting for ambulance."

I'm pretty sure Colin & Ross are now 'virtual' no. 8 in the race to WTF!

Looking at those who started in 8th place and working down to those who started above the Brits or started the week in the top 25 in the race and are still in:

495* Fleming/Hutchins (were 13th) = 315 + Memphis SF 180
450 Gonzalez/Kas (were 8th) - 450 + Memphis R1 0
420 Cermak/Polasek (were 11th) = 330 + Memphis QF 90
370 Bracciali/Starace (were 12th) = 325 + Buenos Aires R2 45
360* Bhupathi/Bopanna (were 14th) - 270 + Marseille SF 90
360 Fyrstenberg/Matkowski (were 9th) = 360 + 0 (not playing this week)
340* Mahut/Roger-Vasselin (were 18=) = 250 + Marseille SF 90
330* Mertinak/Sa (were 24th) = 240 + Buenos Aires SF 90
330 Melzer/Petzschner (were 10th) = 330 + Memphis R1 0

* = still in a tournament this week

If the above is correct (i.e. if I haven't failed to spot the pesky Poles in action somewhere!), they could only be dislodged from the top 8 before Monday if they lose their SF and either <Bhupathi/Bopanna or Mahut/ERV win Marseille> or, since the Memphis title alone is worth 500 points, <if Isner/Querrey or Dodig/Melo win Memphis>

Just to update the above - Colin & Ross were indeed 8th in the doubles team race but Mahut/ERV won the title in Marseille to edge them down to 9th by just 5 points! However, Mirnyi/Nestor stopped them from dropping to 10th by beating Dodig/Melo in the Memphis Final.

In addition, Colin has broken into the top 25 for the first time (up 1 at 25) and Ross has jumped 5 places to regain his career high of 30. It's all looking very good for them atm. biggrin
