Disappointing for George after yesterday, it seems to be one step forward, one step back.

George's form over the last six months or so has been very positive so I don't think one step forward, one step back is a fair reflection of his progress. Sure today's result was disappointing but the vast majority of 18 year olds have the odd result like this. It's no big deal.

To be fair to George I think he has an ongoing minor injury problem, so not fair to be too critical.
I suppose I am hoping for a sustained period when George regularly makes quarters/semis of these futures evnets.

Yes, I do remember at one time during last year some comment from George something like if he only had a body that worked.

Great news. In what was shaping up to be a dire week, wins for Dan and Richard today added to some doubles success at ATP level, don't make it look so bad.
