 I would have thought so, but Jo can be inconsistent, less so this year though which is very encouraging. Saw Lu have a titanic battle with Mel at Nottingham last year, but she is basically only a baseline grinder, so if Jo plays anything like last week she should win this with a bit in hand.

It's a much tougher field this week with Miss Shrieker likely to be her second round opponent and Zhang of China, who was a top 100 player last year a potential QF opponent.
