Yep.  Curtains for David:

QR2:  David Rice WR 430 lost to (q6) Philipp Oswald (AUT) WR 272 by 6-1 6-7(3) 6-2 cry

Good effort, though.

We have bandwidth problems at work at the moment, so sadly, we're not allowed to watch live streams!  In any case, I can't remember all my bet365 log-in details, so I still wouldn't be able to watch the match even if I were at home!

Jonny M & Dustin Brown despatched Junaid & Stadler quite comfortably in the SF in Quimper last week.  Now it's Delgo's & Skups' turn & they're going well:  they lead by 6-3 5-3*. smile

I thought it was going to go to an MTB, as the boys were 1-4 down in the second set, but they seem to have managed to find a way to turn it round eventually! wink

Nice win from David and Sean.  Might have been good if our guys could have been kept separate in the QFs, but there was a  50/50 chance that David and Sean would be in a quarter with one or other of our seeds, and that's how the cookie crumbled.

Sean & the Doc fought a bloody good fight in the first set, dropping their service, but eventually breaking back & then winning the tie-break by 7-4.

First set in the bag for Jamie & Ken by 7-5 (or three service breaks to two! wink ).  Keep it going, lads,

The boys had a match point in the ninth game, but couldn't convert it & the Italians weren't giving in without a fight, saving several match points int he tie-break.  However:

QF: (WC) Marco Crugnola & Stefano Galvani (ITA/ITA) lost to (3) Jamie Delgado & Ken Skupski by 5-7 6-7(9) smile

They await the winner of Brown/Marray vs Rice/Thornley in the semi...
