Week 6 - Challenger ($100,000) - Dallas, USA - Hard

Boggo appears to have sneaked into the main draw as the last DA.

Both have chances of qualifying if the courts suit them and hopefully they may sneak a seeding in the dubs (Combined ranking of around 500 atm- could be pushing it)

Are they no longer doing video streaming stuff here?

Dom won 7-5 6-4.

Good to see him playing some singles again.

Chris is doing a decent bit of GEM-bashing on Julien Benneteau's younger brother - he leads 6-3 5-1*

The match to decide Chris Eaton's second-round opponent (Phillip Simmonds (WR 525) vs Mitchell Krueger (WR 1835)) is on court at the moment. Simmonds has just taken the first-set tie-break (I think), but the match has also just disappeared off the LS! )

Boggo did scrape in as the last direct entrant and his next opponent may ring a bell, because he's the same as his last opponent ...

L32: Alex Bogdanovic WR 350 v Tim Smyczek (USA) WR 253 (CH 158 in 2011)

H2H 3-1 but the loss was the 6-3 4-6 6-2 defeat in Honolulu last month.

Did Dom make it into qualifying as a DA. If so, I find it incredible that an Unranked player can get into qualifying for a 100k!

Best of luck to him tho, met him a couple of years back in Glasgow. Top guy, and a brutal hitter of the ball

Yes, very strange that there are unranked players in a 32-player qualifying draw for a 100K in Texas when (3 weeks out of 4, wasn't it?) they managed to fill 128-player qualifying draws for 10Ks in Florida.

Chris had the only break point in the 1st set against Simmonds but wasn't able to convert it and Simmonds won the tiebreak 7-3

Dom just starting.

Chris concedes one of his breaks while serving for the second set, but still looking reasonably promising: 5-2*. Dom loses the first by 2-6.
