I just discovered, when checking just how good Bouchard was in her WTA activity, that she's the defending Burnie 25K champion, winning the event last year as a qualifier, when still 16, and beating the no 1 seed Sally Peers WR 153 in R1.  I don't think it's been mentioned.

Beat three top 200 players during last year, although that early success was really her highlight.

So, she's a fair player, but c'mon, Mel, you can beat her.

Well Done Mel and Em.

I hope they both keep on winning. Mel should be top 150 at least with her game. Would be nice to see Em break the top 200 at some point
