From the sublime last week to the ridiculous this:

L32:  (4) Josh Goodall WR 283 lost to Alexander Flock (GER) WR 444 by 3 & 5 bleh

The match was suspended for a while at the end of the first set.  I can't help wondering after that result whether it was for an injury time-out for Josh... hmm

Just in case any one was wondering Josh and Miles withdrew from the doubles.

PS: Someone needs to tell Josh that Wirral in not Liverpool.

Quite right RJA! Although the Wirral Tennis centre is right by the motorway into the tunnel and a train station so chances are a lot of players may be staying across the pond in the big smoke...
