Ha, Chris and Dom have firmly said to David and Sean in the last two weeks : "We're Back !"
I'd like to think that David and Sean are still at least at the level they were for most of last year and that this has been really good stuff by Chris and Dom.

To be honest I think that Chris and Dom are a different class to David and Sean. That isn't to say that the latter pair can't get to that level but at the moment I think there is clear water between them.
David Rice & Eaton/Inglot double just paid out £200. Can't believe that Rice was 2nd fav and the doubles were 50/50. Was never the case in a month of Sunrise futures. Nice to make being a British tennis fan pay for once! Well done guys.

That's how I see it, definitely - Dave & Sean could be forgiven for being a bit miffed that Chris & Dom have come back to take over their 'patch' (!) but will hopefully be spurred on to do what it takes to get closer to them.

I think what RJA says is probably essentially right. Basically, Chris and Dom are simply better.
I would imagine longer term ( maybe not even that far ahead ) that Chris and Dom will be aiming to get back to challenger doubles. As has been discussed before, I think that move is more difficult for David and Sean.

Well we will soon see the plan is next week The Wirrel ,week off then three challengers, good luck lads.
If Rice keeps makes futures finals he'll need to be assaulting challengers for his singles too! Well in lads. Who did Evo beat today? Was it Wolmarans?

Wolmarans was yesterday. Today's victim was Luka Gregorc.
Very good week for Rice! Seems to have come out of the blue
Good to see Chris and Dom getting the job done again this week as well. As like people have said above, these 2 really are a class pairing and its a shame Dom was put out with injury for so long last year after beating the number one pair in the world in 2010 at Wimbledon
Definitely a class above the rest at futures level and probably would win most challengers i would have thought, will be interesting to see how high they can push their rankings this year
Ah yes Gregorc. One of those journeymen ranking yoyos. Often plays ATP qualies and doesn't make it but can play at a level higher than his ranking because he doesn't get points for it. Excellent win!

Definately. Gregorc was of course kind enough to remove the second seed in the QFs
Hi. Anyone know what time the final is tomorrow please? I'm guessing viewing will be from the balcony above the courts where the gym is accessed? Am thinking of making the trip as am only 6/7 miles away.

Searching for tennis courts. I reckon there's about 1 court per 25,000 people in our wonderful borough :(
