Hudson was well behind in the second set when I took my eye off the match and next time I looked they were off court. I guess Hudson ran out of steam in the end. He looked on for a win til half way through the second set. Lots of service breaks.
Evo played well to beat Ouanna but the Frenchman did not show anything much. An energetic Sean Thornley won in 3 with a hiccup in the second set.
Alex Ward has never really played well here. He looked too wound up and had a lot of unforced errors, although Richard played very well and very steadily.
Burton was 4-2 down in the first set when I left, and I am afraid I completely missed the Eaton v Morgan match!

Unfortunately, the LTA reported that result the other way round this morning - I'm inclined to believe them over the BBC.
Sadly, it's also confirmed on the ITF site (& clayfan on here, I see). I guess I should've known that the result as reported by the Beeb was just too good to be true!

Dan beating a good player is never much of surprise, unfortunately Dan losing to lesser player is also not much of a surprise. He is frankly an infuriating player to support as he really should do so much better than he has done.
As I said in numerous threads I though his attitude last year was much, much better than in the past, sadly he did not get his reward. Hopefully this year will see the good attitude remain and this time the results to match. I tend to think this is a really big year for him, if he doesn't make the breakthrough that he is should then I doubt it will happen.
George beaten by Sidorenko 2 and 3 according to the British Tennis tweet but 3 and 4 according to him. Says he had chances but didn't take them :( Good win yesterday though, maybe still just needs to find the consistency to do it on a daily basis.
